Cheese savoury is a spread from the north east of Englandand includes cheese, carrot, onion and mayonnaise.

- 80 g mature cheddar
- 80 g red Leicester
- ½ carrot
- 4 spring onions small
- ½ teaspoon Dijon mustard
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 6 tablespoon mayonnaise
Peel the carrot and grate on the largest setting along with the cheese.
Trim the spring onions and then make a lengthways cut down the middle. Now finely slice.
Put all of the ingredients in a bowl and mix.
Use immediately or refrigerate for 30 minutes to make spreading easier.
